It’s JUNE!

It’s June! It’s the ♥ sweetheart’s birthday month!

It’s pretty much the same old, same old Singapore life since I got back from my US trip. I promised myself that I will stop beginning my sentences with “In the US…” or “When I was in the US…” because for some people it’s getting pretty old. Hahaha, I suffered from major holiday hangover for about a week thus, the lack of posts, but now I’m back!!

On the bright side, I gained 3 kg! My mom and the ♥ sweetheart says it shows on my face. Yay! I didn’t notice I was gaining weight until I started having a hard time zipping up my pants. Lol. And it didn’t help that it was birthday party season when I got back here in Singapore, which meant lotsa food trips.

Anais posted a couple of pictures of her post birthday party in Oklahoma and this picrure really brought a smile to my face. That’s me in the paper bag and I was about to attack poor Dan. Hahahaha. I remember making a monster face even under the paper bag! Lol, good times, good times!

Something random: I’m hooked on Duffy! I’m loving her Rockferry album. My friends say that she sounds kinda like Amy Winehouse but I don’t fancy Winehouse all that much but I’m totally loving Duffy.

I went to the beach with the best bud Rikki last Saturday. The weather sucked big time!! First, there was no sun and when we finally got to the beach, the clouds were really dark. By then it was too late to turn back and besides, we’ve already ‘conditioned’ ourselves that it was a beach outing and canceling the beach trip would only ruin our moods. So we stayed until it was just about to pour and left. Hahahaha.

We made attempts to take the never-say-die jumping pics with the camera timer but we couldn’t figure out the perfect timing so we had no airborne pics at all. All we got were spaz pics that showed just how stupid we can be. LOL!!

It’s amazing how we can amuse ourselves by just throwing a frisbee back and forth. We said we didn’t wanna go into the water but the water was just so cool that it was too hard to resist. So we decided to play frisbee in the water, which turned out to be quite a challenge, but fun nonetheless!

Something I’m looking forward to this week: Paintball on Sunday! I’m gonna kick some assssssssss!!!!

I’m finally making full use of my gym/yoga membership. I’m running twice a week and going for yoga sessions three times a week. I think there was something about my Wellness class in the US and Monica’s gym influence… I’m happy I finally got the inspiration that I needed.

I bought my first pair of Havaianas in the US. I wasn’t intending to get any, just that my feet were dying when I wore new heels and I just had to buy something flat to change into. I had to choose between a pair of really flimsy flip flips and Havaianas. I got the Havaianas mainly because they were so fckin’ cheap!! But I honestly don’t see the big hype about them. I mean, they are like… flip flops? Hahaha. And I heard that people in the Philippines (the motherland!) are going crazy over them. I mean, COME ON!! THEY ARE JUST FLIP FLOPS. Hahaha.
